The Fondovalle Refuge is the door onto the Sexten Dolomites Natural Park, where you can admire the famous Drei Zinnen, the imposing peaks of the biggest natural sun-dial in the world, and a diverse and unique flora and fauna. The park still bears the marks of the fierce battles fought during World War I, when the Dolomites were the scene of heavy fighting between Austria and Italy.
